What makes the TurboXS UTEC better?

1. Plug and play for U.S. /Australian/European spec 2002 Subaru WRX



Reliability:

A. OEM connectors ensure quality and proper connection

No cutting of the factory wire harness

No accidental miss wirings

Safety:

A. Built in "knock control" system

Adjust "knock" thresholds through out the RPM range

Adjust the amount of timing, duration, and maximum reduction in timing settings

B. Built in fuel cut defender

Raises fuel cut to 20.5 psi from around 19psi

Raises over-boost protection without eliminating it entirely unless selected

C. Built in part throttle boost controller

Protection from high boost when factory ecu runs in closed loop @ 14.7:1 air fuel ratios. Factory boost level is 7psi and when using aftermarket electronic and manual boost controllers, full boost can be reached at partial throttle, resulting in high exhaust gas temperatures and lean run conditions. (May be disabled).

D. Built in electronic boost control driver

No additional boost controllers required as TurboXS utilizes your factory boost control solenoid

E. Engine coolant and Intake temperature correction

Add fuel or decrease timing as coolant temperatures increase

Gauges are sold separately - and no, we don't sell gauges (at least not yet) so we are not just trying to sell you some more stuff, but we just think that if you spent ~$25k on a high performance car like the WRX and even more $ to make it perform even better, you should spend a few hundred $ to monitor some key parameters.
