Fidanza Flywheel EVO VIII: Coming Soon

How do you increase the performance of a vehicle designed for performance? Lightening the load to increase horsepower is a good start, and Fidanza's new aluminum flywheel and cam gear allow Mitsubishi Evolution VIII owners to do just that.

Due to its lightweight design, the Fidanza Evolution VIII aluminum flywheel and adjustable cam gear require roughly a third less horsepower than the stock setup, freeing up power that allows the driver to accelerate as fast as traction will allow.

The flywheel increases performance and throttle response. The Fidanza Evolution VIII aluminum flywheel is made from lightweight, high-quality machined 6061 T6 aluminum. A warp-proof 1050 steel friction surface, CNC machined fastener holes and chamfers, and a high carbon, alloy steel surface finish off the package. Incredibly durable, the Evolution VIII aluminum flywheel can be paired with just about any clutch disc material available - from organic to Kevlar and even sintered iron. The product is finished with a heat-treated ring gear and military grade fasteners.

Featuring a coal blasted and hard anodized outside ring, the Evolution VIII cam gear sports a textured surface that eliminates belt slippage. Tooth edges on the gear are beveled to increase belt life, and a series of stainless steel studs are threaded through the back of the outer gear. The cam's inner gear is fastened with stainless steel nuts and lock washers, enabling an increase in the amount of torque used to tighten the fasteners, with no risk of stretching to the aluminum threads. The Evolution VIII lightweight aluminum Flywheel is fully SFI-approved.
