| | Brembo Front Brakes 300ZX
Brembo 300ZX brake system featuring big rotors & calipers (stage 5). Features 4 piston calipers, 13.125 rotors. ABS compatibility has been maintained while brake modulation and brake feel have been significantly improved. In the August '93 issue of Road & Track Magazine, five editors tested three tuner cars-the big brake equipped STILLEN GTZ, an RX-7 and a Mitsubishi 3000GT. While three out of five editors picked the GTZ as their overall favorite, it was also the only car present they could drive lap after lap without returning to the pits to let the brakes cool down. They recorded a 60-0 braking distance of 112 ft. compared to 132 ft. for a stock 300ZX. And that was after running' the GTZ at 10/10ths on the track all day! Special brake pad compounds have been engineered to have super gripping capabilities whether you are bringing the car down from 35 mph or 200 mph! Do you really need that kind of braking power for your 300ZX? Can a mere 20 foot stopping difference keep you from wrinkling paint? Clearance for the Brakes require a switch from stock wheels to 17 wheels. Wheel offset is critical, so please check with our technical staff first. The STILLEN Brake package for the '90-'96 300ZX includes: 2 Calipers, 2 Rotors, Front Brake Pads, 2 Braided Stainless Brake Lines, and all necessary brackets, nuts, bolts and hardware to install this kit.
